Maybe you look capable from the outside — good at your job, reliable in your relationships, mostly fine. And underneath, something’s been building: anxiety that won’t quiet down, patterns you can see but can’t stop, or the particular exhaustion of giving more than you receive.

You don’t have to be in crisis to begin. Sometimes the work starts when you realise the way you’ve been surviving is no longer the way you want to live.

Therapy may be right for you if…

  • You overthink conversations long after they end.

  • You’re the one who holds everything together — and quietly resent it.

  • You know where your patterns come from. They haven’t changed.

  • Your body carries tension, worry, or numbness you can’t explain.

  • You’ve tried therapy before. Something still hasn’t shifted at the root.

  • You moved abroad and feel further from yourself than you expected.

Most of my clients are high-functioning professionals — in law, healthcare, tech, design, creative industries — who are excellent at what they do and quietly struggling underneath. They’ve often tried therapy. What they need now isn’t more insight. It’s something that reaches deeper.

I work with the body and nervous system, not just the thinking mind. Using EMDR, somatic therapy, and IFS (parts work), we go to the root of what’s keeping you stuck — the patterns that live in your nervous system, not just your thoughts.

What I Offer:

Anxiety & Overthinking

For when your mind won’t stop, your body stays braced, and you can’t explain why you still feel this way.

Codependency & People-Pleasing

For the exhaustion of always being the reliable one, and the guilt you feel when you’re not.

Trauma & EMDR

For what talking about it hasn’t moved. EMDR reaches the nervous system — where the pattern actually lives.

Life Transitions

For when a chapter has ended — or is ending — and you don’t yet know who you are in the next one.

Women’s Issues

For the patterns inherited from the women who raised you — in your body, your self-worth, and the way you show up in relationships.

Therapy for American Expats

For the loneliness no one warned you about, the relationship strain after the move, the feeling of being between two worlds. As a fellow American in London, I understand this from the inside.

How Healing Happens Here

  • Inner work over external validation

  • Mind-body connection as a foundation for truth

  • Boundaries, compassion, and personal responsibility

  • Growth that’s slow, deep, and lasting

What’s Possible When You Begin This Work

Before:

  • You replay the conversation, wondering what you did wrong.

  • You say yes when you mean no.

  • You understand your patterns. You still live them.

  • Your nervous system is always slightly on alert.

  • You feel responsible for everyone else's emotional state.

After:

  • You notice the old pattern — and choose differently.

  • You set a boundary and feel grounded rather than guilty.

  • Something in the body has shifted. The understanding is finally felt.

  • You can be still. Rest feels like rest.

  • You know where you end and others begin.

Healing isn’t about becoming a “new” you. It’s about returning to who you have always been. This is underneath the fear, the conditioning, and the expectations.

  • Somatic therapy focuses on the connection between the mind and body. It uses body-based awareness and regulation tools to help you process emotions, manage stress, and heal from trauma.

Unlike traditional talk therapy alone, somatic therapy includes mindfulness, movement, breathwork, and nervous system regulation practices to support lasting change from the inside out.

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from trauma and distressing experiences.

Using bilateral stimulation (like eye movements or tapping), EMDR helps your brain reprocess stuck memories and reduce emotional reactivity. It can be especially helpful for PTSD, anxiety, and shifting long-held negative beliefs.
