Therapy for American Expats Living in London and Europe
Living Abroad and Feeling Unseen or Disconnected?
Adjusting to life in a new country can be exciting — but also deeply disorienting.
Maybe you're dealing with culture shock, identity shifts, or simply missing the ease of being understood, it’s normal to feel out of sync.
Therapy with someone who shares your cultural lens can make all the difference.
I offer individual therapy for American expats in London and throughout Europe — combining clinical training with lived experience.
Common Challenges for Americans Living Abroad
Culture shock or difficulty adjusting to a new way of life
Feelings of loneliness, disconnection, or emotional displacement
Relationship strain or lack of a familiar support system
Stress navigating foreign healthcare or mental health systems
Reverse culture shock or uncertainty about going home
Loss of identity, purpose, or internal direction
Grief over “missing out” on milestones back in the U.S.
Therapy That Understands Your Story
As a fellow American living abroad, I understand the in-between.
I’ve felt the mix of awe and ache that comes with expat life — and I know how validating it is to speak with someone who just gets it.
With me, you won’t have to explain the small things or edit your words.
Instead, we’ll focus on helping you feel more anchored, supported, and emotionally aligned with this chapter of your life.
